POLAND

It’s always a pleasure to go back to Poland. We first met Pastor Wieslaw Ziemba on a mission to Albania in 1992. it has been a privilege to see how God has been faithful to him. He heads up the Prayer for Poland network that operates 24hrs a day, every day of the year. They have taken on a massive task, to renovate the building that will be their new Church

CZECH REPUBLIC

The worship team in the Czech Repblic were thrilled with the range of instruments we took them. They have just finished producing a gospel musical that is being used as an outreach. Jarek, who produced it, says it has had enormous impact. They have had great reviews from the local press. Our instruments were used for this event.

HUNGARY

So much has changed in Hungary over the 16 years we have been visiting it. The passion for worship has not changed, but has increased. The Church at Bekescaba has a brilliant band that play with excellence.

Travelling in our Landrover, we are able to visit many countries. The students at the Bible College in Ozijec, Croatia, are from many different parts of Eastern Europe. This is a great place to meet people and get a perspective of what is happening in the Churches in the surrounding nations.

CROATIA

NOT JUST GUITARS!

We are often asked about other instruments. Our focus is on Guitars, but many times we have taken exactly what the worship team needs. This trip was no exception. This set of drums was in action within minutes of us handing it over, and will be a great asset to the team in ROMANIA.

The keyboard here, was one of four, that we took on our last mission. If you have an instrument that you no longer use, then we would be glad to see it put to use in a country where people find it hard to afford or obtain such instruments. Often, after we have given a guitar, we find many places then ask if it’s possible to obtain keyboards. The mandolin was just what was need to add colour to the sounds of the worship team in the Czech Republic. Please contact us if you have anything that you no longer use. Someone in a poorer country would love to have it.

UKRAINE

Liz  and I finally got to the Ukraine a week later than planned, after having had our passports stolen, along with many personal items, just 2 hours before the plane was due to leave. It was a miracle that we were able to get new passports and replace all that we lost. The relief of boarding the plane, exactly a week later, was unbelievable. We knew God had special plans for us in the days ahead. We preached and sang at 3 village churches, taking them guitars and encouraging them to worship. Blessing so many nations would not be possible without your help. Each instrument we take has the potential to change lives and influence communities.

If you would like to be part of what we are achieving with Guitar Aid, why not consider being one of our sponsors. It’s the regular sponsorship we receive, that enables us to carry on giving with generosity.
