DELIRIOUS IN EXETER
Recently we were able to meet up with the lads from Delirious before their Gig in Exeter. We gave them some of our guitars, which they took great interest in. We are hoping to be able to combine aspects of what Delirious and Guitar Aid are doing. This will raise awareness of our aim, to help others in poorer countries, to receive instruments that will make such a difference to their lives.

Recently we have set up a website that is in it’s infancy, but should soon have all our newsletters, along with loads of information as to what is happening with Guitar Aid. We hope this will make many aware of what we are doing and inspire others to get involved. Our site address is www.guitar-aid.com
SHARING THE MUSIC
We took over 30 guitars to Eastern Europe recently, distributing them to Romania, Hungary, Bosnia, Croatia and Serbia. The reaction is always enthusiastic, bringing delight to those who receive them. Visiting Churches where our guitars are being used is always a great experience.
The joy on their faces tells you just how much they appreciate owning and using a brand new instrument. Most worship teams are playing the same type of songs that we sing. For many in these developing countries, the sound they want is created by electric and electro acoustic guitars.
Our aim is to get the right instruments to the right people. The guitars we give are raising the standards to levels that many have only dreamed of. You can make their dreams become reality. The pastor’s son, pictured right, from Vukovar in Croatia, had been praying for a long time for a bass guitar, thanks to your help he now has one.
THE NEW DARIUS GUITAR
Recently we spent more time with Darius, finalizing the design of his guitar. The purpose of this instrument is to raise funds for Guitar Aid. They will be available in blue or sunburst. Each Darius guitar sold will enable us to give away an instrument to someone in need in a poor country. The guitar labels have all been personally signed. We will let you know more as this new project develops.
